Liparita Napa Valley Red Wine
We are dedicated to bringing Liparita back to the luster of its glory days, by creating wine with the same frontier spirit that embodied the award-winning wines of its thriving past. The founder of Liparita, William S. Keyes, started the winery in 1880 with the aim of putting California wine front and center on the world stage. The label retains the heritage of the past, but displays the crested initial of my father, Spencer Hoopes. The winemaking concept is similar as well, focused on making great wines from extraordinary appellations. This modern Cabernet blend captures and harmonizes the diverse characteristics of the Napa Valley terroir.

As this wine opens it evokes notes of dark plum and cassis. With air, more nuanced aromas of violet, clove, and vanilla develop in the glass. Rich and inviting, the palate has a smooth texture with flavors of dark berry, plum, and bittersweet cocoa. The plush tannins leave flavors of baking spice on the long finish.
